About Me

About Me

Oh, hello. I'm Leila, a professional food stylist, food video producer food and lifestyle writer and blogger too. I'm the former Food Editor for both Your Family and Food & Home Entertaining Magazine, as well as the former Contributing Food Editor for Joburg Style magazine. I relocated (back) to Cape Town after living in the concrete jungle (Johannesburg) for six years. Sunshine and beach sand is what it's all about at the moment. That and being a mom to Asha, my five year old and Romi, my 2 year old. Needless to say, I consume caffeine on the daily. I also spend loads of time in my kitchen, cooking for my family, as well as preparing food for various shoots which my children are usually trying to grab (mommy is trying to work here). Pass The Salt highlights content (places, spaces and things to do) that are ideal for families and are, for the most part, child-friendly. Happy Nibbling x
