Proprietor, Chef Sean Ackermann, is focused on delivering fresh & vibrant flavours through a range of signature dishes. Local suppliers ensure this restaurant offers up only the freshest & most seasonal ingredients & produce. The menu is displayed on black chalkboards (try not to drool too much while reading it).
Fresh, light & bright interiors ensure a calm dining atmosphere (something we can all appreciate). The ceramics used in the store are all handmade by Sean’s wife, a professional ceramicist – they are absolutely gorgeous!
Be sure to try the mussels in a fragrant & light curry sauce. The gnocchi with walnuts & blue cheese is also packed with flavour & fantastic texture. Save room for a decadent dessert of chocolate & banana spring roll with fig ice-cream. I’m not even a big fan of ice-cream but I would happily eat a bowl of that delicious figgy goodness.
