If you’re a fan (who isn’t?) of the iconic Le Creuset brand you’ll be super excited to hear that they have just opened their latest boutique store in the quaint town of Stellenbosch – as if Stellenbosch could get any prettier.
I was so looking forward to the Le Creuset store opening event this past week. Unfortunately for me, I had to pass up on looking at all of the prettiness due to a little medical emergency *sigh*. The decision to open a store in Stellenbosch was a no brainer for the French brand. What could be a better fit than the ultimate kitchenware boutique sitting pretty within the historic Winelands town? Nothing really, considering the fact that Stellenbosch is renowned for being one of the top food and wine destinations in South Africa.
Guests who attended the exclusive launch were treated to a preview of the The Sorbet Collection, Le Creuset’s latest stoneware gift sets in a pastel-themed palette (I see a beautiful sorbet rainbow shoot in my future). The new collection launches in October (mark that in your calendars), perfectly timed for the Spring/Summer season.
So when you’re next in Stellenbosch and fancy a spot of kitchenware shopping before dining somewhere rather lovely, you’ll find the Le Creuset Boutique Store here > The Corner Of Church and Andringa Streets, Stellenbosch, Cape Town (021) 300 2168
