Eating Out

Jacksons Real Food Market In Bryanston – An Organic Delight.

October 14, 2016

If you’re looking for a spot that’s all about local, sustainable & ethical food produce AND you live on the opposite border of The Parks… There’s hope! Finally we don’t have to trek out for our organic & health orientated produce thanks to Jacksons Real Food Market. Their new mega store opened a few weeks ago in Bryanston (oppposite the centre where their smaller store used to be). I AM SO HAPPY. It’s literally a few minutes from my home.

Yes, you are able to do all of your grocery shopping at Jacksons but they also have a gorgeous on site eatery that serves up delish breakfast, lunch & dinners. Oh & there is also some luuuurvely craft beers on offer too. Let me not forget to mention that there is a sweet little Origin Coffee Roasting bar in the store. The fresh juice bar serves up all sorts of fresh, energy-inducing juices & smoothies – try the Detox Me. Not to mention the fact that there are areas that are both pet & bicycle friendly (yay!).

On the meatier side of things, Bull & Bush offers a wide selection of superb meat cuts that are all pasture-reared, grass-fed & hormone free in the meat department. Their hamburger patties contain no seasoning whatsoever (just the way I like it), allowing the flavour of the meat to be the hero.

The kids section in Jacksons is fab – pick up a few HEALTHY & nutritious snacks for the little ones lunchboxes (the adults will probably get stuck into the treat jar too).

The dairy section is packed full of creamy delights, from super thick Gourmet Greek yoghurt, to a host of cheeses & dairy alternatives such as coconut yoghurt & cream. Pick up a loaf or two from the wood-fired oven producing beautiful breads made from non-GMO flour.
